The Society of Human Resource Managers of Greater Tucson (SHRM-GT) is currently seeking nominations for the annual Celebrating Innovation in the Workplace Awards.
The awards recognize and celebrate the innovative achievements of individuals, teams, and organizations in the categories of:
- Technology/Process Improvement
- Diversity & Inclusion
- Community Impact
- Leadership
Technology/Process Improvement (company award)
Organizations that developed and implemented a process, system or tool that enhanced or changed the organizational culture or enhanced an HR activity.
Diversity & Inclusion (company award)
Organizations who added value to the company, strengthened community relationships or benefited the employees’ quality of life and work-life in the area of Diversity and Inclusion. 
Community Impact (company award)
Organizations that demonstrated an exceptional commitment to community volunteerism, made a positive impact or acted as a role model within the community to create a positive change through HR efforts as company or individual.
Leadership (individual award)
Individuals who created revolutionary change or inspired a culture of ownership that demonstrates accountability and encourages engagement or demonstrated courageous leadership to tackle individual and organizational goals in a challenging environment
Innovations include the use of resources, effort and significant impact relative to the size of the organization. A panel of Human Resources experts will evaluate each nominee’s accomplishments, and the awards will be given to the organizations and individuals based on their outstanding contributions in Human Resources Management
Winners will be formally announced on November 1st at the event and featured in BizTucson Magazine.
